From what I read, organic fertilizer tend to have a lower concentration of the major NPK nutrients and a more micronutrients. This seemed to lead to less of a need for precision nutrient balancing because the micronutrients and microorganisms (like bacteria that make compost) in the fertilizer took care of fortifying the soil for future nutrient production. I definitely could be wrong though I’m pretty new to this overall.
